Quick Summary

Tasksyy is a marketplace, not a physical store — every project is custom work, so refunds work a little differently. If a freelancer doesn't deliver, misses the deadline, or the work is clearly not as described, you're generally covered. If you simply change your mind after good work is delivered, a refund usually isn't available.

1. Overview

Tasksyy is a marketplace connecting buyers and freelancers — not a physical store — so refunds work a bit differently than they would with a regular product. This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and disputes work on Tasksyy, and it's part of our Terms of Service. Since we don't do the work ourselves, outcomes and quality naturally vary from one freelancer and project to the next.

2. Digital Work Is Custom

Every project on Tasksyy is made specifically for you. Because of this, once work has started, a refund isn't automatic — it depends on the quality of the work and whether both sides followed the agreed terms. The rules below are here to keep things fair for everyone.

3. Refunds — When and When Not

Usually eligible
  • The freelancer never accepted or started the work in time
  • The freelancer missed the deadline and didn't respond to reminders
  • The delivered work is clearly different from what was promised, and can't be fixed with revisions
  • The freelancer cancels after you've paid — refunded automatically
Usually not eligible
  • You simply changed your mind after the work was delivered
  • You didn't give clear instructions for the project
  • The work matches what was described
  • The work was already approved, downloaded, or marked complete
  • You're disputing more than 7 days after the order was completed

Every case is a little different, so we look at the specifics rather than applying these lists mechanically.

4. How to Request a Refund

1
Go to Dashboard → Orders → Order Details
2
Click "Request Refund" or "Open Dispute"
3
Explain what went wrong — include screenshots or examples where you can
4
Our support team reviews it within 3–5 business days

5. How Disputes Get Resolved

First, try to sort it out with the other person through Tasksyy chat. If that doesn't work, open a dispute ticket from the order page. Our Resolution Team reviews the chat history, delivered files, and order details, then makes a fair call based on the evidence.

How Decisions Are Made

As a marketplace, we can't guarantee a specific result in every case, but we review each dispute carefully and fairly. Once the Resolution Team reaches a decision, it's treated as final on the platform and isn't reopened for further appeal.

6. Refund Timing

Refund DestinationTypical Time
To your Tasksyy Wallet24–48 hours
To your original payment method5–10 business days, depending on your bank

7. Chargebacks

If you dispute a payment directly with your bank or card provider instead of going through us, your account may be temporarily suspended while we investigate. Fraudulent chargebacks can lead to account termination, and legal action where necessary.

8. When Freelancers Can Cancel

A freelancer may cancel an order if you don't respond for over 5 days, the project breaks our Terms of Service, or your request goes well beyond what was originally agreed. In all these cases, you're refunded automatically.

9. How You're Refunded

Refunds go to your Tasksyy Wallet — credit that doesn't expire and can be used on any future order — or back to your original payment method, depending on the situation.

10. Final Notes

We may update this policy from time to time, and may decline a refund in cases of repeated refund abuse, fraud, or a clear breach of our Terms of Service. Our goal is always to be fair to both buyers and freelancers.

In Short

If a freelancer doesn't deliver, misses the deadline, or the work doesn't match what was agreed, you're generally covered. If the work is good and matches the brief, a change of mind isn't grounds for a refund. Every case gets a fair review — though as a marketplace, we can't promise a specific outcome every time.
