Privacy Policy
1 Introduction
At Tasksyy International LTD ("Tasksyy," "we," "us"), your privacy matters to us. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you use our freelance marketplace, why we collect it, and what your options are.
Tasksyy is a platform that connects businesses and individuals ("buyers") with independent freelancers. We are not a party to the work itself — we simply provide the space, tools, and payment protection to help both sides work together safely.
By using Tasksyy, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If something here doesn't sit right with you, please don't use the platform.
2 What We Collect
To run your account and keep the platform safe, we collect:
- Your name, email, and phone number
- Profile details — photo, skills, portfolio, bio
- Messages you send through the platform
- ID verification documents, where required (KYC)
- Basic technical info — device, browser, IP address, and how you use the site
- Order and transaction details, such as items purchased, delivery info, and general location, used for things like calculating fees
We also get limited info from trusted partners — our payment/escrow provider, social login (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn), and identity verification services.
If you leave a comment on our blog, we collect the comment itself along with your IP address and browser information, mainly to help catch spam. If you upload photos or portfolio images, please be aware that image files can carry hidden location data — anyone can extract this from an image, so it's worth removing it beforehand if you'd rather not share exactly where a photo was taken.
Forms on our site — like contact, sign-up, or job posting forms — are automatically checked by a spam-protection tool. This tool briefly processes the details you submit, such as your name, email, and message, purely to judge whether a submission looks like spam.
3 How We Use It
- Setting up and managing your account
- Matching freelancers with the right projects
- Processing payments through our secure escrow partner
- Supporting you when you reach out
- Verifying identities and preventing fraud
- Filtering spam from forms, messages, and comments
- Enforcing our Terms and resolving disputes
- Meeting our legal obligations
- Order updates, receipts, and important notices
- Occasional product news or offers (only if you've opted in)
4 Keeping It Safe
We use encryption, secure servers, password hashing, and limited internal access to protect your data, and we regularly review our security.
To keep the site fast, we also use caching technology, which temporarily stores a copy of pages you view. Cached files are never accessed by outside parties, aside from the technical support needed to run the caching service itself, and they clear automatically on a set schedule.
5 Who We Share With
- Other users: your profile, ratings, and messages are visible as needed to do business on the platform
- Service providers: our payment/escrow provider, hosting, caching, spam-filtering, email, analytics, and support tools — only to help run Tasksyy
- Legal reasons: if required by law, court order, or to protect our users and platform
- Business changes: if Tasksyy is ever acquired or merged, your data may transfer with the business — we'll let you know
6 Cookies & Site Tools
We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how people use Tasksyy. Some are essential and can't be turned off; others (like analytics or ads) you can manage through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how well the site works.
If you comment on a blog post, you can choose to save your name, email, and website in a cookie so you don't have to re-type them next time. These last about a year. Logging in sets a short-term cookie to check your browser accepts cookies, plus longer-lasting login cookies so you stay signed in — these clear automatically or when you log out.
7 Your Rights
Wherever you're based, you generally have the right to:
- See what data we hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Ask us to delete your data (with some legal exceptions, like tax records)
- Get a copy of your data in a portable format
- Opt out of marketing at any time
If you're in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland (GDPR) or California (CCPA), these rights are backed by local law, and you can also lodge a complaint with your local data authority. To exercise any of these, email privacy@tasksyy.com — we typically respond within 30 days, and may need to verify your identity first.
8 Marketplace, Not a Service Provider
It's important to understand what Tasksyy is and isn't. We run the marketplace — the profiles, messaging, job posting, and secure escrow payments. We are not the ones designing your website, writing your content, or editing your video. That work is done independently by the freelancer you choose.
Because of this, we can't guarantee the outcome of any project. We do our best to support a good experience for everyone — through identity checks, reviews, and dispute support — but we don't control the quality, timing, or result of the work itself, and results can naturally vary from one freelancer or project to another.
9 Age Restriction
10 Changes & Contact
We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last Updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version, and for bigger changes we'll notify you by email or a notice on the platform. Continuing to use Tasksyy after an update means you accept it.
Marketplace role: Tasksyy connects buyers and freelancers but is not a party to the work agreed between them. We don't guarantee outcomes, timelines, or quality of any project — we simply aim to make the experience as fair and safe as possible.
Payments & escrow: handled by an independent third-party provider under their own privacy policy — we don't control and aren't responsible for their data practices.
No guarantee of perfect security: we work hard to protect your data, but no online system is 100% secure, and use of the platform is at your own risk.
Local law applies: privacy rules vary by country. Where this policy and local law conflict, applicable law takes priority.
Binding agreement: this Privacy Policy, together with our Terms of Service, is a binding agreement between you and Tasksyy International LTD.
This policy is for general information and isn't a substitute for independent legal advice.
